   A    BILL          

For the relief of Polly Booth, of the county of Madison, State


 of New York.

   1   Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
      tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
   3   That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he hereby is,  
   4   directed to pay to Polly Booth, the widow of Isaiah Booth,
   5   deceased, a soldier in the army of the  revolution, the sum
   6   of four hundred and forty-two dollars and fifty cents, being  
   7   for the arrears of her pension, at the rate of ninety dollars
   8   per annum, from the fourth of March, eighteen hundred and
   9   forty-eight, to the third of February, eighteen hundred and
  10   fifty-three, to which she is entitled under the second section 
  11   of the act of February, third, eighteen hundred and fifty-
12   three, entitled " An act to continue half pay to certain
13  widows and orphans."
